The 5 Hour wait

I went to the doctors today to check out my foot. It feels better but it has been aching at different areas. *sigh* So I decided to go to the doctors to check it out, to see if there is anything he can suggest that would make it better.

8pm- Reach hospital with Sukuna my lecturer, JoFly, SushiRon, and Just Reei.
9pm- 3 nurses had to look at me before I could offically enter the hospital.
10pm- The intern doctor came and looked at my foot, saying she suspects that it is a leg problem, but cos I had taken a long plane ride, she wanted to make sure the pain was not due to any blood clog.
10pm-12am- Waited like a lost puppy by 11pm my fren was discharged already!!
12am- Finally got wheeled to another room to get an ultra scan for my leg. I was told to flex my foot at different timings. Breath in and blow out and then hold my breath and then release. I got a little worried when it took really long. I though they found something. But thank God nothing is wrong.
12. 30am- Was wheeled out again. Then I had to wait for the intern doctor to get the resident doctor to come look at me. He was no where to be found, the other intern doctor was looking for him. So I waited and waited and waited.
1. 10am- FINALLY, the resident doctor came and he talked to me. Saying that the diagnosis is Plantar fasciitis. Got this off the internet. Plantar fasciitis causes stabbing or burning pain that's usually worse in the morning because the fascia tightens (contracts) overnight. Once your foot limbers up, the pain of plantar fasciitis normally decreases, but it may return after long periods of standing or after getting up from a seated position. Hmmm I have to get a follow up in Singapore.
Anyway,so we left the hospital and headed back to the dorm.
Mixed emotions as I have to stay in tomorrow. It is probably one of the more happening days. They are going to the museum of Science I think. Well, I am going to stay in an rest tomorrow and do project. :)
Slow down Wan Lin. You need your feet to heal, so that you can see more of Boston!
